We are committed to providing a secure experience. Our technical stack is designed to deliver Scripture content and audio without intrusive tracking.

  • Usage Information: We use Heroku to host our Ruby on Rails API, which may process standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) necessary for maintaining app performance and security.
  • Audio and Content Data: To provide Scripture-based audio, we utilize API.Bible for text and ElevenLabs for text-to-speech generation. Generated audio files are stored and served via Cloudflare R2.
  • Push Notifications: If enabled, we use the Expo Push Notifications service to send alerts to your device.

2. What We Do Not Collect

As previously established for this project:

  • No Location Tracking: We do not use GPS or location-based services.
  • No Social Logins: We do not require or collect data from third-party social media accounts.
  • No Financial Data: The app does not process in-app purchases.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data processed by our technical stack to:

  • Deliver a functional local UI and audio playback experience on iOS and Android.
  • Manage background tasks, such as asynchronous audio generation via Redis and Sidekiq.
  • Distribute app updates and builds through TestFlight and the Google Play Console.

4. Third-Party Services

We partner with the following service providers to deliver our core features:

  • Hosting & API: Heroku (Backend) and Cloudflare R2 (Storage/CDN).
  • Content Providers: API.Bible (Scripture) and ElevenLabs (TTS).
  • Infrastructure: Expo / EAS (Build system and notifications).

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is only shared with the service providers listed above as strictly necessary to operate the application.
